Position: Sr. Software Engineer (Node JS)
Department: Engineering
Job responsibilities:
– Complete assigned development tasks: API creation, bug fixing, test environment setup, Codacy report maintenance, unit testing script preparation, and backend version release
– Review, merge codes to deployment branches, and document backend development
– Manage and review Jira for personal tasks and team members’ tasks
– Participate in daily scrum meetings, and communicate with clients via email/calls
– Conduct client sessions, presentations, and prepare team performance reports with timely submission
– Guide, motivate, and encourage timely completion, skill development, and team-building
– Review, merge, and track tasks and performance of junior team members
Compensation & Other Benefits:
– Competitive monthly allowance of up to 80,000 BDT (Based on your level of expertise)
– 10 AM – 7 PM from Monday – Friday; Sat & Sun Weekend (2 Days)
– Festival Bonus (02) Yearly
– Yearly increment
Qualification and Requirements:
– BSC in CSE/CS/SE from any reputed public/private universities
– 5 years of official experience (Freelancing Experience is a plus)
– Node.js/Express.js/Nest.js + Socket.IO expertise
– Proficiency in MongoDB, Redis + familiarity with DynamoDB and ElasticSearch
– Minimal Python experience + unit testing is a plus
– Writing high-quality, testable, efficient code and conducting best practice code reviews
– Lead and mentor junior team members, break down tasks and manage clients
