Education: Diploma or BSc in Civil Engineering
Responsibilities & Context:
* Supervise construction works at regular intervals to ensure timely completion with proper quality, standard, and consistent working drawings.
* Plan and monitor the proper progress of the projects and take action plans depending on the requirements.
* Coordinate with team members (Architect, Structural Engineers, Plumbing Engineers, Electrical Engineers, etc.) and provide necessary guidance on the project issues.
* Communicate policy guidelines to the members of the project.
* Prepare method statements of all the works/jobs with specifications of all the constituent items (materials, plants, tools, etc.)
* Provide safety guidelines to all the workers, and contractors; supervise the staff of the projects; and take proper measures to ensure safety.
* Coordinate with project personnel and contractors to address operational issues and solve them proactively.
* Review the contractor’s work programmers, resource, schedule and project implementation plans and ensure that the contractors/site supervisors comply with their work plans and complete the work within the specified time frame.
* Able to give timely feedback and report to proper authorities (PM) for timely implementation of the project.
* Supervise & manage the construction work of individual project independently through effective planning, monitoring, reporting of progress, managing contractor and others in site.
* Should have good knowledge about the drawings, good in the cost estimate, and capable of preparing the budget for the project.
* Preparation of work schedule and planning for execution of the work.
