Job Description: Back-End Developer (Python/Django)
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain robust back-end services using Python and Django.
• Design and optimize advanced REST APIs with Django REST Framework (DRF).
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL databases, ensuring efficient query execution and database design.
• Deploy, manage, and scale servers on DigitalOcean to maintain high availability and performance.
• Integrate and manage data storage solutions using S3 API.
• Configure and maintain Nginx for load balancing, security, and performance enhancement.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless feature integration.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, leveraging libraries such as NumPy and Pandas for data processing and manipulation.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Proficiency in Python and Django: Hands-on experience with web application development.
2. Advanced Expertise in Django REST Framework (DRF): Demonstrated ability to design and build RESTful APIs.
3. Database Management: Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and database architecture.
4. Server Management: Experience with DigitalOcean for deployment, scaling, and server maintenance.
5. File Storage Integration: Familiarity with S3 API for file handling and storage.
6. Web Server Configuration: Proficiency in configuring and using Nginx for enhanced performance and security.
7. Data Manipulation: Experience with NumPy and Pandas for data analysis and processing.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Knowledge of additional cloud platforms and server management tools.
• Familiarity with API and server security best practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker.
Experience Required:
• 3 years of hands-on experience in back-end development with Python and Django.
