bKash Ltd. Is hiring “Engineer, Quality Assurance,” for the Software Research & Engineering Department.
We are looking for skilled individuals who have the ability to ensure information systems’ quality by analyzing, testing, and reporting software, and usability defects. Moreover, it is also required to drive the quality assurance stage of software development and deployment through the proper use of automated and manual tests to ensure the created software fits the purpose for which it is built. If you are someone who is enthusiastic about analysis of the software and its associated systems, risk aversion, defining acceptance tests and behavior specifications, and exploratory testing scenarios, this role is a good fit for you.
Job responsibilities for the role include:
· Identifying and tracking defects and providing issue reports on demand
· Nurturing stories through development and testing until completed
· Manually testing new features/stories
· Identifying scenarios for automation and writing scripts for execution
· Conducting regression test
· Active participation in team activities such as planning and retrospectives
· Establishing test plans and executing them before every release
· Reporting issues/defects elaborately
· Analyzing potential issues and conducting investigation for solution
What we prefer you to have:
2 to 6 year(s) of experience in the following sectors: Investment/Merchant Banking, IT Enabled Service, Software Company, Telecommunication and other IT enabled industry having Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSC, CSE, ICT, ICE, ETE. Required to have experience in API Testing, Git Version Control System, Postman, Scripting Language.
