The Brunei government is providing scholarships at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels to the students of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries. Under this scholarship, the opportunity to study in five universities of the country will be provided. The Ministry of Education has invited applications from Bangladeshi students. The application can be made till February 15, 2025.

Eligibility –
Age: The maximum age to apply for Undergraduate and Diploma should be 25 years. The maximum age for postgraduate application should be within 35 years. Must be of age on July 1 of the year in which the course or program starts;
Proficiency in English: IELTS score is required for English proficiency 6 or TOEFL score 550

How to apply –
Interested candidates will have to apply online on both the links of the Government of Brunei and the Ministry of Education of the Government of Bangladesh. Click here to fill out the online application form at the Ministry of Education link;
Hardcopy submission address-
The hard copy of the application along with the attested copy will be submitted in the designated box in the reception room adjacent to Gate No. 2 of the Secretariat from 9 am to 5 pm. The sender, recipient (Senior Assistant Secretary, Scholarship and Engineering University Branch, Room No: 1706, Building Number: 6, Secondary and Higher Education Division, Ministry of Education, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka), ID / Tracking Number and Program name must be mentioned on the envelope. The deadline for hardcopy submission to the ministry is Tuesday, February 15, 2025, at 5 p.m. If the application is submitted anywhere other than the place mentioned, it will not be considered. Incomplete applications are not acceptable.
