China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a renowned international construction company, invites applications for the position of Deputy Project Manager for the DWASA Sewage Network Project Package WD5B in Bangladesh.
Position Details
Position Title: Deputy Project Manager
Office Location: 11th Floor, Gulfeshan Plaza, Mogbazar, Dhaka-1217, Bangladesh
Project Location: Dhaka (Arambagh, Paltan, Shahidbag, Motijheel)
Requirements
Educational Background: Master’s degree in a relevant field. (Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering)
Professional Experience: At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with a proven track record in a Deputy Project Manager role. Total 8 to 12 Year Experience.
Project Experience: Prior involvement in projects based in Dhaka City.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs, and other necessary software.
Familiarity with the Federation International Des Ingenious-Conseils (FIDIC) conditions of contract.
Industry Knowledge:
In-depth understanding of construction industry systems.
Ability to coordinate key aspects such as project management, quality management, safety management, progress management, and cost management.
Job Responsibilities
>Assist the Project Manager in delivering and developing project services and deputize in their absence.
>Serve as the primary liaison with the client on project matters.
>Implement approved project plans, including milestone establishment, within set tolerances.
>Ensure adherence to corporate directives, guidelines, and strategies, and monitor the achievement of project goals.
>Support the preparation of program-related documentation, such as quarterly reports, monthly progress reports, and handover reports.
>Coordinate stakeholder engagement, ensuring effective communication and interdependency management.
>Ensure compliance with audit requirements and interface effectively with suppliers’ quality systems.
>Oversee quality reviews of project documents and deliverables, ensuring high standards in management outputs.
>Manage and develop project staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
>Embed sustainability dimensions, including social inclusion, environmental considerations, and economic aspects, into the project lifecycle.
>Exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
