Job Description:
Geo Smart Planning are looking to hire skilled individuals for the preparation of Mouza databases across 20 Unions of Bangladesh. The selected candidates will work on digitization, georeferencing, edge matching, and database preparation. This is a short-term project with opportunities for extension based on the scope of work.
Qualifications:
GIS Expert:
Bachelor’s degree in urban and Rural Planning; Minimum 3 years of experience in Mouza digitization works, Georeferencing non-RTK- survey based Mouzas; Edge matching and attribute database preparation; OSM data extraction and database management; Handling large GIS databases effectively.
Assistant GIS Expert:
Bachelor’s degree in urban and Rural Planning; Freshers or 1 year of experience in Mouza digitization works; Spatial adjustments and AutoCAD to GIS database conversion; Edge matching, ward/village boundary, Agricultural database preparation using JSON/GeoJSON.
Salary:
GIS Expert: 2000 BDT per day.
Assistant GIS Expert: 1200 BDT per day.
Duration: 10-12 days (with the possibility of extension depending on project scope).
