Kansai Paint is Hiring Executive – Environment Health & Safety (EHS)
Job Responsibilities
- Investigating incidents, accidents & collecting evidence, root cause analysis, taking corrective action, submitting reports to group EHS Management.
- Maintain the operation of such equipment as water softeners, water hardness, Water Iron Level, BOD, COD, TDS, Conductivity and PH level and RO (3R) Plant, ETP and WTP Plant operation.
- Preparing Preventive Record Sheet and others necessary ISO, EHS, EMS, OHSAS, QMS, 5S, Kaizen, related documents.
- To Prepare Daily, Weekly & Monthly and yearly EHS and safety documents.
- Reviewing production work processes to detect possible safety concerns, drafting corrective measures where appropriate.
- Checking the safety height or man height of preserving the RM store.
- Ensuring proper safety while unloading from MTT truck.
- Maintaining all safety checklists. Maintaining work permit and toolbox meeting before starting any civil work or maintenance work. Conducting fire drill, mock drill on a regular interval.
- Providing training to all workers, staff, and operators for safe operation during production. Conducting safety committee meetings every 3 months.
- Ensuring enough safety placards and signs for awareness purposes.
- Performing HIRA and JSA on regular basis.
- Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, including identifying risks and providing training to employees on how to handle hazardous materials or situations.
- To assist & find out potential hazard and taking action to eliminate in every process.
- Audit & inspect various dept. /site regularly for EHS issues and follow up & discuss for remediation.
- Monitoring & ensure proper PPE for every employee in workplace.
- To investigate accident/incident and take action to eliminate root cause of accident.
- To assist & ensure good housekeeping.
- Ensure first aid box with proper first aid kits available first aider in process.
- Co-operate for various auditors and visitors related to EHS/compliance.
- Monitor and ensure that facility of fire detection & protection system and safety equipment (Detection All Device / Panel Board/Hydrant/Sprinklers/Fire Alarm/Extinguisher etc.) is checked regularly for their proper function ability.
- Establishing emergency preparedness plans to ensure that the company can continue operations in the event of an emergency.
