Nottingham University offers postgraduate scholarships to Bangladeshi students

The University of Nottingham in the UK is offering international students the opportunity to study in postgraduate programs under scholarships. Students from Bangladesh, India, Africa or Commonwealth countries can apply for this scholarship under the ‘Nottingham Developing Solutions Scholarship’. The application deadline is April 16, 2025.

The University of Nottingham is a public research university located in Nottingham, United Kingdom. It was founded in 1881 as Nottingham University College. Later in 1948, it was upgraded to a university by royal charter. Nottingham’s main campus (University Park) and teaching hospital (Queen’s Medical Centre) are located on the outskirts of Nottingham city.

The university has numerous smaller campuses and sites in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Outside the UK, the university also has campuses in Semenyah, Malaysia and Ningbo, China. Nottingham has five faculties, comprising more than fifty schools, departments, institutes and research centers.

Postgraduate can be done in the following subjects or faculties-

Faculty of Engineering.

Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Faculty of Science.

Faculty of Social Sciences.

The tuition fees of students selected for this scholarship will be waived in full or in half

Africa (all nations), Angula, Antigua and Bermuda, Bangladesh, Barbados, Belize, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Brunei, Cayman Islands, Dominica, Falkland Islands, Fiji, Gibraltar, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kiribati, Malaysia, Maldives, Montserrat, Nauru, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Pitcaine Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Saint Helena, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Tonga, Trinidad and Tobago, Tristan da Cunha, Turk and Caicos Islands, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

Eligibility –

Must be a citizen of the country mentioned above.

Must be an international and new student.

To apply for the scholarship, you must be admitted to a full-time postgraduate program at the University of Nottingham in the UK.

Current students at the University of Nottingham or anyone graduating from there cannot apply for a scholarship;
