The Malaysian government is offering international students the opportunity to study in postgraduate programs completely free of charge. The scholarship will be awarded to selected students under the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP). Students from Bangladesh and other developing countries can apply. Last date of application is 14 July 2024.
This scholarship program in Malaysia has been running since 1980. The duration of the postgraduate program is two to three years. So far, more than 34,000 students from 144 countries have had the opportunity to study in Malaysia under this scholarship.

This scholarship covers cost of living allowance, book allowance, tools allowance, house rent allowance, family support allowance, placement allowance, thesis allowance, travel allowance, practical training allowance, study allowance, salary, medical allowance, visa fee.
Application Qualifications
The student must be a citizen of a developing country.
Age not more than 45.
Must be graduate degree holder.
Academic results should be good. (At least second class (Hons) in graduation, or minimum CGPA 3.5 in Bachelor or equivalent score).
Must be in good health.
Should be proficient in English language. (Minimum score of 6 in IELTS, minimum score of 60 in TOEFL, or previous degrees completed in English medium).
Students already enrolled in any other Malaysian public or private university will also have the opportunity to apply.
Payment Method
Participants will receive allowances and other benefits from the Scholarship Division, Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia through their personal savings accounts. In this case students should open an account with Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad.
