Position: SQA Engineer
The incumbent will have the responsibility to:
● Manage the software system testing process, including task allocation and documentation
● Actively participate in feature and regression testing as needed
● Develop and maintain a test schedule, and adjust the test plan as necessary
● Ensure final quality assurance and take responsibility for software release and associated
documentation
● Report and document defects identified during testing
● Analyze requirements and gain comprehensive knowledge of the product being tested
● Create high-quality test scripts using various test techniques
● Write test automation scripts using tools such as Selenium, Protector, or similar
● Conduct thorough testing to identify and prioritize high-priority bugs in the early stages of
development
The incumbent should bring along:
● 0-1 years of experience in a related field
● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from a reputed public or private university
● Proficiency in understanding Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle
(STLC), and Software Quality Assurance (SQA) processes
● Ability to formulate test cases based on specified requirements
● Capability to analyze requirements and acquire a deep understanding of the product being
tested
● Proficiency in developing high-quality test scripts using various Test Techniques
● Ability to detect and prioritize high-priority bugs early in the development process
