Salary Range: BDT 50,000 – 90,000+ (Based on Experience)
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Cybersecurity Analyst to join our growing security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defending our digital infrastructure by monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats and vulnerabilities. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of the evolving threat landscape, and a proactive approach to cybersecurity.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor SIEM platforms, security tools, and threat intelligence feeds for suspicious activity.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents; perform root cause analysis and coordinate remediation.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and work with internal teams to address findings.
- Maintain and improve security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, etc.
- Create and maintain security documentation (policies, procedures, incident reports).
- Support compliance efforts (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, etc.).
- Drive employee cybersecurity awareness programs and training sessions.
- Stay current on new threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity or IT security roles.
- Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, IBM QRadar).
- Solid understanding of networking, malware analysis, threat vectors, and incident response.
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark, Nessus, Metasploit, or Burp Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Certifications: CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, GSEC, OSCP, etc.
- Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and their native security tools.
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation or security tasks.
