Job Description
Job Purpose: Responsible for designing and implementing interconnection, CS Core & roaming solutions for a telecommunications network. Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless and efficient communication between network nodes, both domestically and internationally. Stay up to date with industry developments and technologies in the field of roaming and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Key Accountabilities:
support for planning design & dimensioning for GMSC, GMGW, VMSC, VMGW, Roaming, IMS core. - support for day to day work order for interconnection traffic balancing, optimization, KPI reporting for GMSC, GMGW, VMSC, VMGW, Roaming, IMS core.
- Prepare short term and long-term plan to evolve roaming network, VMSC, GMSC, ICX connectivity, ar-chitecture and topology. Evaluate and recommend new technologies and asses its impact in network.
To ensure business forecast is given to ensure complete assessment for network capacity and service planning. Liaison with network & technology engineers/designers for complete assessment deliverables. - Focal or liaison point for Business and IT for concepts and plans of new and existing roaming services and products for the necessary planning of solutions/services.
- Explore solutions, products or service plan options with vendors, Solution Architects, and ISD to come up with the plans/options that are cost effective and timely, with good service/customer experience (reliable and consistent), scalable and integrated from a platform/solution perspective.
- Translate business requirements into technology requirements, prepare RFI/RFQ/FRS document and complete technical evaluation. Drive procurement process of appropriate solution & network devices as deemed fit for roaming and new services.
- End to end responsible for roaming network expansion, migration or upgradation. Finalize the require-ment for peer resources, develop necessary implementation guideline and acceptance criterion.
- Work on enabling the required analytics/reports for business as reference to plan new products, attack key segments, address eroding trends, manage data explosion and improve customer experience.
Plan and manage IR network for CAPEX/OPEX Planning with following up financial KPIs, product roadmap and integration with CS/PS core. - Plan for steering launch/modify/update. Generate daily/weekly/monthly Roaming Revenue and Costs Analysis based on top destinations and Roaming Subscriber Numbers.
- Manage roaming service provider like Orange, CMI and ensure the best class roaming service both for inbound and outbound roaming. Maintaining the roaming agreement technical references.

Educational Requirement: BSC in ETE/ECE/EEE/CSE from a Reputed University
Experience Requirement: 2 years.
