Position: Supply Chain Executive
Employment Status: Full-Time
Job Responsibilities:
- Supply Chain Strategy: Develop and implement effective supply chain strategies aligned with the company’s overall business objectives, considering factors such as cost, efficiency, and sustainability.
- Procurement Management: Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management, ensuring the sourcing of high-quality materials and components at competitive prices.
- Inventory Management: Strategically manage inventory levels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring sufficient stock availability to meet production and customer demands.
- Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics partners to ensure smooth transportation and delivery of goods, optimizing shipping routes, and minimizing transitions.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure the compliance and quality of incoming materials and finished products.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering effective communication and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions and ensure business continuity.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilize data analytics to monitor key supply chain metrics, generate insightful reports, and recommend actionable improvements.
- Cost Optimization: Identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including engineering, manufacturing, sales, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of supply chain activities with company goals.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field. (Background in Engineering will get preference)
- Proven Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably within the electrical or Mechanical engineering industry, with a track record of driving successful supply chain initiatives.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to inspire and mentor a diverse team.
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions and solve complex supply chain challenges.
- Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced environment, able to adapt to changing business requirements and market dynamics.
- Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Technological Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus.
