Japan, the land of the rising sun, is offering full-free scholarships to international students to study postgraduate programs. Selected students under ‘ADB Scholarship 2025’ can study at Kyoto University in the country of their choice. Citizens of all Asian Development Bank (ADB) member countries can apply for this scholarship. Application deadlines are June (for April intake) and November (for October intake).
The Asian Development Scholarship awards scholarships to around 300 students from Asia and the Pacific. Under this, the students can acquire master’s degree in the universities of 9 member countries of ADB. The duration of the scholarship is one year. If necessary, the period can be extended up to the second year. The maximum duration for postgraduate programs is two years.
Facilities
Will pay full tuition fees.
Will pay monthly expenses and accommodation allowance of every student.
Air ticket.
Apart from this there will be health, travel and book purchase allowance.
Application Eligibility
Must be a citizen of ADB countries.
Must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Academic results should be good.
Must have two years’ work experience.
Candidate age should not be more than 35 years at the time of application.
Candidate must return home after completion of degree.
