Job Description: Executive, Machine Maintenance

Position: Executive Machine Maintenance
Job Summary:
The Executive Machine Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all machinery within our packaging production facility. The role involves regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with machine suppliers to resolve critical issues, thereby minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Preventive Maintenance:
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all machinery.
• Conduct regular inspections and servicing of equipment to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
2. Troubleshooting and Repairs:
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs on all packaging machinery.
3. Coordination with Suppliers:
• Liaise with machine suppliers for technical support and spare parts procurement.
• Collaborate with suppliers to resolve critical machinery problems efficiently.
4. Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on machinery performance and maintenance work.
5. Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments on machinery.
6. Training and Development:
• Train production staff on the proper use and basic maintenance of machinery.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in machinery maintenance and incorporate best practices.
Qualifications:
• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in machine maintenance, preferably in a packaging or food production environment. Freshers are encouraged to apply with proper domain knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with packaging machinery.
• Knowledge of PLC and automation systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Salary: Negotiable & Subject to experience.
