HVAC Design Engineer – Butterfly Group
Location: Head Office, Dhaka
Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Design HVAC systems (Chillers, AHU, FCU, ducting, piping, ventilation, etc.) with accurate load calculations
Develop detailed 2D/3D layouts using AutoCAD & Revit MEP
Coordinate with architects & project teams for system integration
Prepare BOQ, technical proposals, and cost estimations based on project needs
Calculate customs duties, landed costs & maintain margin analysis
Source vendors & pricing for new or custom items
Apply relevant codes & standards: ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, BNBC
Provide technical support to sales teams and assist in client meetings
Review BOMs and ensure smooth procurement & documentation for import clearance
Stay updated on sustainable HVAC technologies and practices
Requirements:
Education: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience: 2–4 years in HVAC design, estimation & project coordination
Strong knowledge of HVAC standards and system components
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP & MS Office
Excellent analytical, communication & coordination skills
