The recommendation was made at the 86th meeting of the Academic Council held on February 24. Later, according to the decision of the 128th meeting of the syndicate held on March 5, the admission of students in two departments was approved.
The departments of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) and Biomedical Engineering (BME) were introduced from the next academic year at the undergraduate level under the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering of the university. Approval was given to fix the number of seats in each division to 30.
