When it comes to the name of the university, Harvard University will come up, because it is a place where the education of many influential personalities who changed the world has begun. These include Franklin D. Roosevelt, Henry Kissinger, Barack Obama, Bill Gates, John F. Kennedy, TS Eliot, Mark Zuckerberg and many more famous names. This university has been part of history in many ways. Eight American presidents, 158 Nobel laureates, 10 Oscar winners, 48 Pulitzer Prize winners and 108 Olympic medal winners have studied here.
Harvard University is offering such an opportunity to study MBA with scholarships. The academic name of the scholarship is ‘Harvard University MBA Scholarship’. Students from other countries including Bangladesh can apply for this scholarship. The application deadline is May 31, 2025.
In 1639, the institution started its journey as ‘New College’. The main purpose of which was to educate the pastors of the Christian Church. It wasn’t called “Harvard” in the beginning. Charlestown’s minister was John Harvard. He was a student of this school. Before his death in 1638, he donated about half of his wealth and the vast library of books he had created for the New College. In 1639, New College was renamed Harvard College after John Harvard. ’
