The academic name of the scholarship is ‘Harvard University MBA Scholarship’. Students from other countries including Bangladesh can apply for this scholarship. The application deadline is May 31, 2025.
In 1639, the institution started its journey as ‘New College’. The main purpose of which was to educate the pastors of the Christian Church. It wasn’t called “Harvard” in the beginning. Charlestown’s minister was John Harvard. He was a student of this school. Before his death in 1638, he donated about half of his wealth and the vast library of books he had created for the New College. In 1639, New College was renamed Harvard College after John Harvard.
