Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both local and international electrical codes and standards. You will be responsible for designing electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and collaborating with other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
>Design and develop electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
>Prepare detailed electrical design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
>BBT System, CCTV, PA system design & BOQ
>Ensure compliance (RSC Standard) with local and international electrical codes and standards.
>Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
>Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and ensure design implementation.
>Provide technical support during the construction phase and address any design-related issues.
>Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
> 2 years of experience in electrical design.
>Proficiency in electrical design software (AutoCAD or similar).
>Strong knowledge of local and international electrical codes (BNBC, NFPA & IEC).
>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
>Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
>Professional Engineering license (IEB Member) is a plus but not required.
