Job Description-
We are seeking a skilled Fire Design Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in fire design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both local and international fire codes and standards. You will be responsible for designing fire systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and collaborating with other engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
>Design and develop fire systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
>Prepare detailed fire design drawings, specifications, and calculations.
>Ensure compliance (RSC Standard) with local and international fire codes and standards.
>Collaborate with architects, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate fire systems into overall project designs.
>Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and ensure design implementation.
>Provide technical support during the construction phase and address any design-related issues.
>Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications:
>Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Engineering or a related field.
>2 years of experience in fire design.
>Proficiency in fire design software (AutoCAD or similar).
>Strong knowledge of local and international fire codes (BNBC, IBC, ICC & NFPA)
>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
>Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
>Professional Engineering license (IEB Member) is a plus but not required.
