Currently, most of the students in the world are leaving their country for higher education and moving abroad. And New York is one of the most desirable destinations for students who want to pursue higher education abroad. Every year, a significant number of students from Bangladesh migrate to New York for higher education and research.
New York University is one of the famous educational institutions in the world located in New York. But since the university is private, you have to pay about 58 thousand 168 dollars every year to study here. As a result, many international students hesitate to study here. But so that the cost of education is not hindered by talented students, New York University provides financial aid every year.
New York University has a total of three degree-granting campuses – New York, Abu Dhabi and Shanghai. Applications usually start around August and last until January.
Financial aid based scholarships
Although there are separate scholarship systems in the US universities, there are financial aid systems for international students. Likewise, New York University provides this financial aid to a number of students around the world every year according to their needs.
Usually New York University costs around 60 lakhs in Bangladeshi currency every year just for tuition fees. Apart from this, there is the cost of living and eating. It is almost impossible for many to afford. That is why the university provides financial aid scholarships to help students financially. And with this financial aid scholarship you can get your bachelor’s degree completely free of cost.
Facilities
In financial aid-based scholarships, an average of 75 lakhs in Bangladeshi currency is given annually and about 3 crores in 4 years. This includes tuition fees, food and housing, books and health insurance. This scholarship is awarded every academic year.
Apart from this, New York University has another special advantage that is, the opportunity to study for a term in another campus under their jurisdiction, which is called ‘study away term’ and they bear the full cost of the term outside of their own campus.
