Position: Junior Executive/ Executive (ECR)
Job Responsibilities:
· Establish & and maintain a formal environmental management system or program.
· Ensure organizational structure to establish EMS.
· Ensure the facility is in compliance with required environmental regulations and permits (e.g., air emissions, wastewater, hazardous waste, a general facility-wide environmental permit, etc.); maintain updated documents.
· Ensure the facility’s impact assessment is conducted and significant impacts are identified.
· Work to reduce the facility’s level of environmental impact and risk; improve environmental performance.
· Track, measure and keep an inventory of energy usage, water consumption, air emission, waste generation and chemical use; entitled to approve these data.
· Set and review at least annually improvement targets for energy use, GHG emissions, water use, wastewater quality, and waste generation and air emissions Coordinate to develop plans/strategies to make progress toward the facility’s environmental reduction target (energy, GHG, air emission, waste, water use & waste water quality improvement).
· Conduct environmental internal audits and ensure necessary measures to mitigate non-conformity.
· Responsible for staff training and ensuring all members of the workforce recognize and understand their responsibility & and own contributions to improve environmental performance.
· Assess and work with its supply chain (suppliers or sub-contractors) to improve their environmental performance.
· Maintain and implement environmental, and chemical standards such as, Higg Index and ECR.
Educational Requirements
• B.Sc. in Environmental Science and Resource Management
