Job Title : Deputy Manager/ Manager
Department : Regional Implementation & Operations
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Network Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Availability, Mean Time to Restore (MTTR), etc. within the agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) as per the established process with clients.
- Ensure first-line fault handling of optical fiber, active devices and passive equipment (Power).
- Manage vendors, measure their performance, and provide detailed reporting on their activities.
- Ensure the rollout implementation of Telco and new client connectivity meets business requirements.
- Take proactive measures to prevent network outages.
- Accept new rollouts while maintaining standard quality and providing proper reporting.
- Ensure yearly preventive maintenance of the fiber network, infrastructure, data center, Points of Presence (POP), devices, and Base Transceiver Stations (BTS).
- Regularly input data into tools such as Phoenix, Opus, Work Management System (WMS), GIS, KMZ etc.
- Manage spare parts at the sub-center.
- Analyze Operational Expenditure (OpEx) and identify initiatives for cost reduction.
- Ensure regular payment of vendor bills by issuing Work Completion Certificates (WCC) and Purchase Requests (PR).
- Keep the database regularly updated as per the organization’s process.
- Conduct regular client visits and take action to improve customer satisfaction.
- Allocate employee job responsibilities and measure their performance.
- Manage resources and settle Advance Requisition (AR) and bills according to organizational processes.
Academic Qualification:
B. Sc. in ETE/EEE/ECE from any reputed university.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate, mentor and guide team members effectively;
- Sound knowledge of Optical Fiber, Telecommunication networks & power systems;
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel. Good grasp of all the programs under MS Office suite;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Required Experience:
7-10 years of experience in relevant field.
