About the Role:
We’re looking for passionate and skilled Backend Engineers (Python/Node.js) with up to 2 years of experience who are eager to relocate and join our dynamic global team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing scalable backend systems, designing robust APIs, and ensuring the performance and reliability of our applications. Core Responsibilities:
Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Python and/or Node.js.
Develop and manage relational databases using SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL).
Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
Troubleshoot, identify bottlenecks, and resolve bugs and performance issues.
Maintain code quality through clean architecture, testing, and automation practices.
Stay up-to-date with backend trends and emerging technologies.
Technical Skills Required:
Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript (Node.js).
Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL (preferably PostgreSQL).
Familiarity with backend frameworks (e.g., Express.js).
Version control using Git and collaborative development on platforms like GitHub/GitLab.
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.).
Understanding of SEO principles and backend optimization for web performance.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.

Work Location:
Primary Location: Malaysia (also open to Taiwan).
Candidates must be willing to relocate and work onsite.
Relocation support will be provided by the company.
Compensation & Facilities:
Salary Range: USD 17,000 – USD 20,000 per year
Holidays: Follows the public holiday calendar of the local country
Leave: As per company policy
Bonus: Year-end bonus typically equivalent to one month’s salary
